Running Balance

What checkbook app does not have a running balance. This is the basic of the basic. If it had that I would give it five stars. Just silly.

Unusable

The iPhone app is pretty good except the photo part. The iPad crashes continually hopefully you can correct this.

Tough to Say

Its tough to say. I had to update from Quicken 2013 to 2016. The app, my computer, and the bank were not syncing properly. The computer in the bank yes. The app, no. But my bank had recently did an update. (was that the problem?) After a week its all running smoothly. Im manly use the app to register charges and so forth so I dont have to enter into Quicken at home. After week everything settled down and is running fine. It makes things very easy and smoothly its not for business purposes but for personal. When doing my credit cards. I dont like that it uses the credit card company names instead of the names I have given them. So they dont stink

Not worth it

Always has issues, have to delete the sync and its ok for a few days. Really doesnt do much, not worth it. You will get frustrated with the issues so trust me dont get this app

Doesnt seem like much data is synced

I cant look up transactions more than a year ago and one cant search keywords in "memo."

Recently set backs

Up to recently the app was very good. Now, the app is logging out too often and requires reloading data. Also, I cant add a return to the App, so I cant change a sign on an entry

Good app.

I recently moved from Quicken Deluxe 2013 to 2016. I particularly like the addition of fingerprint print ID.

This software program is going down a step slope

I have been using Quicken since it was on DOS Operating system. After few years of running on Windows it did well... I have noticed that since 2010 the software is really degrading in performance, how to choose privacy and most of all the customer service! I thing it is time to return quicken 2016 along with this App that is nothing but a joke! And then CRASH.... I rarely post a review unless I constantly experience crashes... Not to mention looking throughout the program menus (quicken 2016?desktop) to simply update their flaws to start with! Quicken you have done a REALLY BAD JOB!

Frustrating

I love the desktop version, but I always have issues with the app. Connectivity issues to my financial institutions is the biggest frustration.

Convenient

I like the ability to access Quicken, but there are very few features

crashes on load

would love it if it would load. loaded the first time i ever used it, then it crashes immediately. even deleted it and re-downloaded it with the same results

Last update broke it

This has always been a useful but quirky app, particuarly in regards to syncing and updating account balances. But this last update truly broke it! If you have to sign into your bank accounts - always the case after an update or logoff from the app - it gets stuck in a crash loop. the only solution is to delete the app and data, restart your iPhone, and download it again. Once thats done, you just have to use it for entering transactions to send to your desktop Quicken. Dont even bother trying to get updated bank or credit card balances. It worked on the last version, so hopefully theyll fix this soon.

Crashes during updates

This behavior began after updating to 4.2.2. When attempting to sync with my bank after entering a uid and password, the app drops to the background. Bring it forward, and it will hang for a second, then drop to the background again. Hopefully Intuit will read this and the other reviews like this and expedite a fix. Until then, Ill use the app as a basic checkbook register so I can sync with my desktop.

Excellent!

This is an excellent app. Yes there were sync problems in the past. But they fixed that problem. Bare minimum this app deserves 4 stars & their have been several updates this year. Im so glad they fixed the sync issue.

Satans Sync

There really should be an option to sync directly with the desktop version of Quicken instead of being limited to the current model of syncing desktop to a server somewhere, and then iOS to the server. Why not let users sync to desktop, or at least have that option...?!?! Especially when it comes to financial data, less is more! Im over the frequent sync-sessions-gone-wrong when I wind up with duplicate accounts, i.e.: Checking and Checking (1). Deleting sync data and starting over, as directed by tech-support, works for a while -- but it always happens again. I dont want to troubleshoot, I just want to sync. Ive given up on Quicken sync, and just use Quicken on my desktop :-(

What happened?

Quicken used to work flawlessly years ago. I keep buying forced updates, and each one has more functionality that works less and less well on my laptop AND on my mobile devices. Ever since the banks and credit card companies started issuing chip cards and updating their soft wear, Ive been having significant problems. I now am up to four institutions that I have problems with: Wells Fargo, Capitol One, Discover, and my Credit Union. I also can no longer access them on Mint Bills. PageOne was a great program before Quicken bought it and merged it with Mint. Im thinking of going back to paper.

What a disappointment. Cannot sync

I have used Quicken for more than 10 years and was so happy to see today that I could use mobile. I have spent an hour trying to sync with no luck. The app continues to tell me I need to set up accounts on my desktop, and my desktop says I have 13 accounts synced and up-to-date. There are other free programs that are more reliable. I hate to lose my history but this is ridiculous. What a sorry app for such a great program.

Syncing issues

With the latest update on May 19th, no updates are happening back and forth with my iPhone app.

Cant track my Chase account

Each time I start this app up, it says it has been 7 months since the Chase account was accessed and updated. But the Mint app always has it downloaded to the penny! And the Mint app is written by the same folks that wrote Quicken?!?!

dont bother

its horrible had of accounts... cant get new accounts to load... dont waste your time
