A nice complement to the desktop version.

Though very handy it is still buggy at times. Wish it had a selection for type such as debit, cash, and deposit.

Works well but, still cannot edit transaction .

It is generally good for entering data. Split allocations take an extra step. It would be nice if you didnt need the PC app, but the mobile app is a nice companion.

Works well for checking/savings accounts, wish it would also do stock and investment accounts like its computer counterpart.

Its a good companion to the computer software for tracking spending on the go but in no way can it be depended on for replacing the software on the computer. Biggest shortcoming is the inability to transfer money between accounts. You have to do that on your desktop/laptop

I want to be able to record transactions on the go. It allows me to do that. I wish it would remember more current payees.

The app has gotten much better over the last few versions. The ability to enter transactions off-line still needs to be implemented and the app needs to be disconnected from desktop upgrades. Finally the app needs to have locally available information from the desktop, even just a month of data or some user selected date range

Needs minor improvements to support more banks, great product overall...

I have used Quicken for 15 years and it is pretty much the only one of its kind. Ive seen the quality deteriorate from version to version as it gets loaded down with features. I was excited when the Quicken mobile app came out right after Mint, but was very disappointed at how buggy it was. Today it has come a long way and my wife and I use this daily to manage our home finances. The mobile app is pretty good but the synchronization from Quicken still needs help. Errors out a lot and sometimes crashes quicken when it runs on a schedule.

Have always had problems actually entering receipts, the convenience has fixed that problem for me.

Does not have much interactive capability for choosing accounts or updating balances. I have years worth of accounts and data that is not accessible. It doesnt even pick the accounts with the most recent transactions, just some random collection.

Long time Quicken user. Glad the mobile app is usable. Biggest feature I use is entering recipes at the time of sale and seeing where I am to budget. Receipt entry is ok. Cant split item, but can edit previously entered item and split then. Not best UI for it, but is OK. Budget is great when my PC Quicken successfully syncs. Running about 40% success rate syncing budgets. When there is an error, budget is not loaded or partially loaded. But app is heading right direction. Like the iPhone app better than iPad app.

Mobile and desktop sync much better than in previous versions, and with fewer crashes on either app. Well done.

Helps me keep track of things for our budget.

Using it after my computer crashed. Would like a few more features such as viewing last months expenses to tide me over.

Mobil app much improved. Syncs easily with desktop. Just updated to Q14 on desktop and followed up with this app. App user ID and P/W, at first, was not working. Once I figured out that Q14 was needed, and required a password reset, it works as well as Q13 on all 3 of of my portable devices. Very useful while on the go. App lacks an ability to transfer between accounts, but thats outweighed with syncing other items on the go, even though syncing still takes a couple minutes to complete. I havent tried the photo receipt feature yet, so well see. In todays fraud rich environment, the Q14 app helps you keep tabs on your accounts - an added bonus.

Especially needs help with syncing to the desktop

I am using the app in my iPad and I am satisfied with it. I found it difficult to edit an already posted transaction; I am not sure if that is even possible. In any case, it is really convenient to use together with the desktop version.

Its a really decent product.
