2016 Quicken Mac user

Really like the Q. Mobile App! Have been using Q. For Mac several years and am glad I moved to 2016 Q. Which gives me the ability to start transactions with my iPhone, take a picture of the receipt, and have it stored on my Mac with the transaction data.

Still an Awful Product

I used the quicken mobile app a couple of years ago and was highly disappointed. The UI was not good, fields in my desktop version were not in the mobile version, entereing transacitons was a pain, and syncing seemed to wreak havoc on the data in my desktop. So, here I am a couple years later hoping these issues were resolved, but they are not. The same issues persist. I synced my data, and a bill that is not due for 3 months magically showed up in my register EIGHT times!!! My secheduled bills were messed up, too. The missing fields are still missing. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!! If anyone wants to take a ride on the wild side with this product, make sure you backup your data before every single sync.

Impossible

Not only can I not get the app to work, but if the nickname is already taken, the App Store app just deletes your review and you have to start over. The Quicken app would not do anything without syncing, and syncing was possible only after correcting one by one several thousand transactions that could not be downloaded. Seems easier just to use the banks apps to keep abreast of finances while traveling.

Sync Issues

The balance on the Mac app does not match the balance in the iOS app. Quicken please fix!!! This is a constant issue that gives me the wrong information. Im going to switch to Banktivity!!!

PLEASE PLEASE add charts for All Expense

Amazing companion for my Quicken 2016, but I really want to see the pie chart for all my expense. There is still a lot of room for improvements!

Great App

Easy to use on the go.

Needs more work

This app would be more useful if it included the check number field. Also a running balance should be shown in the transactions screen. With these additions a paper check register would no longer be necessary.

Nice complement to desktop

I use the app to enter transactions at the point of sale, and it works nicely for me. Now its easier to keep my finances up to date.

Quicken App 2016

This app has gotten worse as it is with the windows desktop. These people have no idea what they are doing who make up the software for both. When you call you spend at least an hour waiting for someone to answer and what does that tell you about their apps & software. When you do get through these Techs have no idea whats going on because of whats been put into the software.

Getting Better...

Ive been using the app since it first came out. Ive struggled at times, but never gave up although at times it probably wasnt worth the time. Its much better now, but still struggle with one account getting updates (Wells Fargo), but work through it. Like I said, its still a "work in progress".

A great App

Works well with MAC version of Quicken 2016

Its Okay

The app is okay. I mainly do everything on my PC and use the app as a reference.

Disappointing

I intend to call my banks tomorrow because this app indicates that all but one of my bank accounts have disappeared. Poorly conceived and executed in my opinion.

Not very useful

Desktop version is very good, but the mobile version is of very limited use. Not worth putting data on Quickens cloud. Need a better dashboard with better drill down capabilities.

Sync broken...AGAIN! And crashing

This time the app wont even launch. Crashes on startup. Embarrassing to their QA and development teams! And for sure embarrassing to management. There is no reason this app shouldnt work flawlessly, but alas it is broken again. Just embarrassing.

Sync function DOES NOT WORK!!!

I have 12 accounts selected to sync to mobile on my desktop. However, when I launch the iOS app it says I have no accounts synced and gives me instructions how to enable sync on my desktop. Followed the instructions just to be sure and my steps were already done. Also, the Touch ID feature doesnt work upon launching the app, after I login through the Touch ID it takes me to the login screen only to have me type my login credentials manually. This app truly adds zero value to me and I am extremely disappointed. I love the desktop version and as it works great, there is a night and day difference between this app and the desktop version and clearly supported by two different development teams that are OUT OF SYNC!!

Sub-par & a big disappointment!

The desktop program works pretty well, even though it has its own quirks. This app...terrible! Major disappointment from such a reputable software provider. Intuit...youve got the experience and history to know better and get this fixed. Im seriously considering choosing something else for my desktop in favor of an app that works properly. In this world of immediate data and information, I cant count on the accuracy of my data on the app. A budget account that had funds left yesterday is now suddenly $2,000 over budget, along with many others that are suddenly screwed up. And NO NEW INFO WAS ENTERED!!! It just spontaneously combusted!

Buggy App; Very Frustrating

In contrast to Quickens desktop product, Ive found that Q Mobile continues to be a buggy, unwieldy and incomplete product. The most frustrating feature is the constant loss of synchronization, followed by error messages, all requiring very time -consuming efforts to unlink and relink the cloud data. Mobile is useful only for entering transactions; it wont even handle transfers. This has gone on a long time, Intuit! When will you prioritize fixing this lemon?

THE WORST

Read the reviews and believe. App logs me out constantly, often taking 2 or 3 tries to get logged back in again, only to have to wait to download transactions all over again. All I want to do is enter transactions quickly during a purchase, but this headache makes it impossible. Have asked for help from support only to receive none. It will work briefly after reloading the app, only to revert to this mess after about an hour. Was using an older version that worked (refusing to update) for months until today, when it would no longer accept my log in. Save yourself the headache and dont even bother with this app.
